There are days when it just doesn’t pay to get out of bed. This is one of those days. No need for details (they don’t matter anyway) just wanted to throw this up there to the “powers that be.”
Ah, Facebook. The number one social networking site in the world. This behemoth was built by some geeky kid who is now “fuck you” rich. No, I am not bitter, I promise. For many in the world, Facebook (from now on referred to as FB) has been a place to connect and reconnect with new and old friends. I have even gotten a hold of some old friends I thought lost to time and distance. It has been the portal to success to musicians, comedians and other entertainers. It is a place to get information and sign up for “Free iPads” by “only following this link!” FB has killed all other social networking sites, or at least put them on life support. Whatever it is, it is something a little different to everyone.
Our company just ported all the Verizon blackberries to AT&T – much to the Verizon user’s distaste (including my own.) I left AT&T because I could not stand their customer “support.” It was pulling teeth trying to get anything corrected. Especially if it was their fault.
It’s always good when you can explain life through beer…
I cant wait for this election to be over. I just hope that, no matter who wins, all the political posts STOP. I mean, really, the commercials aren’t bad enough (no matter what commercial is playing) the we also have to hear about it on every other medium? Really?
Hurry up, November 4. Hurry up!
Here are some interesting, though really only to myself, facts about me that maybe not everyone will know or care about with regards to myself.
First, a tiny bit of background on one of the funniest things to happen in the forums of the KYRF. Screw that, let me just link the post and you draw your own conclusions:
[EDIT] They cleaned out the thread, look below for a link to a preserved copy, if you want to [/EDIT]
Last week (Wednesday, actually) the final divorce meeting took place at a mediator’s office. To make a long story short, my ex-wife and her lawyer played a bad hand and instead of coming away with an equitable sum, they came away with only the legally required portion of my 401k and $1000 in cash. I left with a whole lot of marital property still in my house, which includes ALL of the entertainment center and I keep ALL of my camera gear. In other words, we took her to school and failed her.
